Level Up For Educators
4-Hour Professional Development Training

Learn how to apply PRACTICAL NEUROSCIENCE to your daily life.

4-hour training that was designed to equip our next generation of educators with specific strategies to reduce stress at home and in the classroom with the most current neuroscience findings tied to social and emotional learning in the classroom.

The Impact of  Neuroscience on Well-Being

In 2015, I consulted with Mark Robert Waldman, one of the leading neuroscience researchers in the country, to help make the connection between how the brain impacts learning, achievement, well-being and results, whether at home, school or the workplace and wrote Level Up: A Brain-Based Strategy to Skyrocket Student Success and Achievement. We use the latest research to help others increase their learning potential and how to access those “aha” moments of learning.

In 2019, we launched the “Neuroscience Meets Social and Emotional Learning” Podcast to stay on the cutting edge of the most current and practical neuroscience researchers to help improve well-being and achievement in our classrooms and workplaces and in 2020 began a year-long Neurocoaching Certification: modeled on evidence-based neuroscientific research covering mindfulness, relaxation, stress-reduction, intuitive decision-making, and the development of emotional balance – strategies that have grown out of the research by Waldman, Newberg, Ekman, Panksepp, Siegel, and Davidson.

What Educational Leaders Are Saying

Jeff Kleck

Jeff Kleck

GCU Adjunct Instructor, School Administrator

“Like Martin Luther King Jr. I have a dream. I dream that someday all teachers will teach students how to think rather than making them think. I dream that all students will understand how their brains work and use the knowledge to be successful and excel in whatever endeavors they choose and that students and teachers will find books like Level Up to increase their brain power and success.“

Dr. Branham and I met Mrs. Andrea Samadi in 2014. The new character education class truly captivated our students. Our parents even saw a pleasant change in their child and Victory High School’s new Character Education program.  Andrea’s personal stories helped the students see how life ups and downs a can be teachable moments on their way to success. Mrs. Samadi’s program taught our students how to develop Character.

“Level Up is an action oriented guide designed not for school but for life. It is constructed with interactive exercises that demand the learner both think and feel. Level Up will transform learners into achievers as they follow the well outlined path. The text and guidelines are inviting, encouraging and supportive. Staying with the program creates powerful connection between neuroscience, theory and success.”

“Andrea Samadi’s book makes an important contribution to education and the creative process of personal growth. She has identified 30 brain-based concepts that directly correlate to leading a highly successful, productive life. As a leading neuroscience researcher, I can assure you that her grasp of the human brain is spot-on.”

What is Level Up for Educators?

Level Up Professional Development Training for Educators is a 4-hour training that was designed to equip our next generation of educators with specific strategies to reduce stress at home and in the classroom with the most current neuroscience findings tied to social and emotional learning in the classroom. Educators receive training, materials, worksheets, and activities to help them to implement these success strategies into their own lives, and then teach them to their students in the classroom. As teachers learn more about breaking their own habits and thought processes, and create new neural pathways for success, they become energized and hopeful for improved results. This training will help guide educators with tools and strategies to better manage stress, and then implement these strategies to reduce stress in the classroom.

How does it tie in the Social Emotional Learning Core Competencies?

Level Up for Students was written with Casel’s 5 Core Social and Emotional Learning competencies in mind, with Growth Mindset added. You will see these 6 social and emotional learning competencies in the program’s Scope and Sequence.
